Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd (PASB)

Our Story

Incorporated in February 1994, Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd (PASB) is a state-owned investment holding company (GLC) with a well-diversified portfolio of investments in Financial Services, Property Development, Construction & Construction Materials, Agro Based and Ancillary Investment.

In 2023, the PASB group completed its restructuring exercise and launched a new strategic plan. These two initiatives, together with a concerted effort to strengthen the governance framework and rationalise cost, is repositioning the group for sustainable profitability and financial growth.

We are fixated on a clear strategic direction: moving towards becoming an investment holding company with investments in businesses with strong recurring income and dividend yield. This entails moving away from direct business operations, to mitigate operations and mismanagement risks and reduce costs, and for PASB to eventually be a strict investment holding company.
